Indigenous Education

Making of the Moccasin Story

We recognize that we have a responsibility in healing and recovery with regards to Truth and Reconciliation. It is our honour and duty to bring the Calls to Action to life here at Lady Grey Elementary School.

The Indigenous Education Program provides:

  • support to Indigenous learners in all areas
  • assistance to classroom teachers to integrate Indigenous content and perspectives into lessons
  • opportunities for Knowledge Keepers and presenters to share their knowledge

There is consultation with families, staff members, students, School Based Team, and local Elders Council to support students.
